Tishman Speyer’s The Campus at Playa Vista, designed by Gensler, includes four buildings totaling 325,000 square feet built on an interconnected platform. The project’s green strategies are built around the efficient use of water: the landscaping, including a green (planted) roof on each building, utilizes drought tolerant, “California friendly” plant materials and is irrigated with reclaimed water; the interior features water efficient bathroom fixtures and uses reclaimed water for all non-potable uses. The project earned every possible LEED water point.
