Susan Di Guilio, LEED AP & California Registered Architect

Susan Di Giulio has been active in the architectural community of Los Angeles since 1983. In her early career, Susan worked on large commercial and institutional projects with James Tyler Architects, John Carl Warnecke Associates and the Architect’s Collaborative. In Italy, she adapted 18th and 19th century structures for contemporary retail projects. She has designed residential and commercial projects as sole proprietor of Susan Di Giulio Design. Beginning in 1997, she served as project manager and project architect on multi-family housing and mixed use projects with Togawa and Smith Architects, Carde-Ten Architects and KFA.

A LEED AP since 2006, Susan is an active member of USGBC-LA, where she served as volunteer Program Development Consultant. Before joining ZC, she consulted on the LACCD Builds Green program.

Susan has an MA in Architecture from UCLA, and a BA in Environmental Design from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she first studied the relationship between land use and ecosystems.
